About the history of this special watch:<\/p>\n

The Cornavin P810 Diver is one of the most legendary and rarest Swiss pocket watches in history.<\/p>\n

It was introduced to the market in the late 1950s<\/strong> and is considered the \u201cthird\u201d major Swiss diver\u2019s watch, following icons such as the Rolex Submariner and the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms.<\/div>\n

What makes the Cornavin P810 so special?<\/div>\n

  • The first decompression table on the dial:<\/strong> Instead of a traditional rotating bezel, the entire surface of the dial is designed as a decompression table (for depths up to 40 meters). This allowed divers to immediately see how long their safety stops needed to be during ascent. <\/span><\/li>\n
  • \u201cWandering Hours\u201d:<\/strong> The watch does not have a traditional hour<\/strong> hand. Instead, the hours are displayed via a rotating disc located beneath the dial in a small viewing window (aperture). Only the minutes and seconds are displayed in the traditional manner, with hands extending from the center. <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Eye-catching radium hour markers:<\/strong> The vintage models feature distinctive square radium hour markers at the quarter-hour marks <\/span><\/li>\n
  • The Movement (Felsa 810):<\/strong> The watch is powered by a Felsa 810<\/strong> automatic caliber (often gold-plated). It is based on the famous \u201cBidynator,\u201d the first automatic movement with a rotor that winds from both sides. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    On the watch, the abbreviation AMF<\/strong> stands for American Machine & Foundry Co. <\/strong> <\/p>\n

    The Swiss Subsidiary: In 1952, AMF<\/strong> opened offices in Geneva, which gave rise to AMF Overseas Corp.<\/strong> in 1958.<\/p>\n

    The goal of this Swiss subsidiary was to acquire and market European patents in the sports and diving sectors.<\/p>\n

    Absolutely authentic, unmodified, untouched Cornavin P810 decompression diver’s watches in top condition!!!<\/p>\n

    The beautifully designed dial and hands are in pristine condition, and the radium luminous material (approx. 140 microsieverts per hour according to a Geiger counter) is still fully intact and luminous (it goes out immediately when removed from UV light).<\/p>\n

    The radium luminous material on the hands and dial is in its original condition and has developed a beautiful vintage look over time.<\/p>\n

    The second hand is a different color (green)\u2014and that’s how it’s supposed to be.<\/p>\n

    The original Plexiglas has minimal signs of wear.<\/p>\n

    The case is unpolished and shows only minimal signs of wear\u2014a rarity that is certainly worth mentioning.<\/p>\n

    Only the crown was certainly replaced at some point, but a waterproof, domed crown from that period has been installed.<\/p>\n

    The Felsa 810 caliber movement runs perfectly and is in flawless working order in all its functions.<\/p>\n
